Dear Everybody!
We are a special group of angels who have come to earth to tickle your imagination, make you chuckle, help you feel joy and brighten your day.
It's been quite a journey for us to come to earth and for Diana Claire to bring us here! This is what happened.
In 1989, while Diana was at a personal healing retreat, we came into her mind. It's like we gave her some new thoughts. She wrote them down — the first line was "how to bring angels to earth." She thought this would make a cute book, but she didn't have a clue how to make a book!
Busy as she was, she seemed to forget us. So we had to change direction, and decided to come through her inner child — Susie. We helped Susie write a story called Susie Goes to the "Hospital," which is about creating a safe place in the imagination to heal from traumas. That was in 1990.
This time, Diana Claire realized that she needed to learn how to illustrate the story. But she was still too busy to do that. Finally — January 1993 — we helped her to move from Ontario, Canada to Santa Fe, New Mexico. We hoped she would stop being so busy so we could help her with these projects.
Finally, she started to illustrate Susie Goes To the Hospital. She learned how to illustrate, using her non-dominant hand to draw. It seemed like magic to her.
Our big day was in November 1993. It was a sunny morning. And a happy day! Diana was illustrating a page in Susie Goes To the Hospital. In Susie's hospital there is a chapel to talk with Jesus and the angels. Angels, that's us! We helped Diana be in a slight trance. Then we used her drawing hand to come through on to the page. When she looked at us she said, You're cute. I wonder what I am to do with you!
To us angels, a person wondering means we have someone to play with. So we started to play with Diana, everyday. And we kept Diana very busy drawing hundreds of us. She used to say that even though we were really small, and made out of simple forms, each of us had our own energy. That's true.
These are the first angels that Diana drew.
We want to be everywhere. So we helped Diana make books — How To Bring Angels To Earth and Angel Playtime and Angels Come In Many Colours. Also greeting cards, T-shirts, and stickers. She had to learn how to do each of these, at least as prototypes.
In 1995, it was time for Diana to return to Canada. Of all the angel products, she decided the books were the ones that needed to be the first to be officially marketed. So she decided to learn how to self-publish. And we helped her launch the Vancouver office of Peanut Butter Publishing — full services for self-publishers.
By 1998, she had helped many authors self-publish. Now it was time for her books. She set up Wisechild Books just for publishing us angels! And she published How To Bring Angels To Earth and Angel Playtime.

Inside each book are 16 black and white illustrations. Anyone who colours the illustrations gets to play with us. We really like that!
We are very excited about having our own web page. We hope that this will allow lots and lots of people to meet and play with us.

Another way is to order an Angel Family Portrait for you or for someone else. It is something very special we help Diana do. One way to think of us angels is that we are part of your "invisible" family. If you want, Diana can draw your angel family portrait. Then you can see us!
