The first belongs to Clare, a woman in her eighties and in good health, who felt the call to turn inward, and to prepare herself for conscious dying. The second voice belongs to Diana, a woman in mid-life, who was Clare's witness through this journey. For almost three years, through meditation, readings and dialogue, they contemplated what it means to prepare for conscious dying. Always Becoming ~ Forever! is the fruit of that contemplation. As a reader you can follow Clare's journey through her journals, letters, and dreams. With Diana, you can share her pain, joy, frustration, and periods of revelation as Clare shifts from preparing for physical death to realizing that conscious dying has more to do with allowing old patterns to die. Douglas We have committed our lives to responding to the inner call to live consciously, and our works to be of service to others. Clare M. Buckland Born in Vancouver, BC, 1914. Education: B.A., M.A., Ed.D., in her 50s, Diplomate, Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, at 71 years old Family: Two sons, Reed and Frank Harris, and five grandchildren. Professional Experience:   Jungian Analyst, 1985-97; Family Therapist, 1975-80; Workshop Leader, Women's Resources Centre, Vancouver, 1973-83; Principal, York House School, Vancouver, 1958-64. Honors: International Fellowship, American Association of University Women 1968-71; Women of Distinction Award, YWCA 1993. Publications: Always Becoming: An Autobiography, 1996. Presently: Living quietly in a care facility in Vancouver, BC, Clare is adjusting to becoming blind, continuing her exploration of conscious living and dying through meditation and audiotapes, and visiting with family and friends.
