How IntheFlow
painting works
With no thought in mind, Diana applies
layers of acrylic paint to gesso-prepared paper, playing with
colours. When this feels complete, she "sees into" the painting from
all four directions to see whether the painting is to remain as an
abstract — an expression of energy. Or perhaps she finds beings —
animal, plant, human — in the colours. Diana then chalks in these
beings, beginning a relationship with them. Finally, she brings the
beings into form by painting them in detail. Commissioned
Paintings Diana enjoys doing IntheFlow
Paintings on commission. The process is the same as described above,
except that instead of having no thought in mind, she "holds" the
person in her heart and mind while she puts paint on paper.
Workshops and

Comments "For me,
IntheFlow Painting is a way to paint from the inside-out.
When I paint in this way, I feel directly connected with my soul and
with the Source. My soul sings as I paint! I feel like I am dancing
with divine energies, allowing them to move through my body and my
hand. I feel free and exhilarated. I love never knowing what will
appear in the paint, and then seeing in multi-dimensions as I play
with paint on paper. IntheFlow painting is my favourite form
of spiritual practice, a powerful way to allow the unconscious to
become conscious, and to bring beauty to the world." What others have said about
Diana's paintings "The magic of
Diana's colours harmonizes with the rhythm of the soul." "I love living
with your painting. It has helped me to open to a deeper part of
myself." "I can see so
much in your paintings. Even more than you have brought out. It's
fun to do that!" "Your painting
hangs in my meditation room. I feel inspired by the man in the
painting. It's as if he is a guide for me." "Your animal
series is so playful and whimsical. Each one makes me laugh out
loud!"
